Google is making progress on expanding the control users have over cookies in the Chrome browser with a new flag in Canary that enables an improved interface with more buttons and information.
The experimental feature is available in the Android version 82 of the browser and adds two more options for cookie management.

Cookies are a well-known and well-loved method for managing user state in web browsers, such as to determine if you are logged into a web site. Most notably now, the notion of “third-party” cookies are used by advertisers as means of tracking people across the web. These new privacy changes to Chrome prevent advertisers and others looking to track you online from doing so when you go Incognito–so now when you say you don’t want be followed around online, Chrome is helping you out.This change along with other changes such as the SameSIte setting are good moves for Chrome, and a way to keep the rampant abuse of third-party cookies in check. Of course, we are looking forward to the day when cookies will be replaced by HTTP State Tokens, but this is is a welcome start.
