Guccifer Hack Of Democratic National Party

A hacker known as Guccifer has stolen files from the Democratic National Committee and has revealed the top Democratic Donors, their addresses, e-mails and phone numbers, how much they donated and more. The list, given to The Hill, includes such Hollywood names as David Geffen, Jeffrey Katzenberg, Tom Hanks, Judd Apatow, Magic Johnson, Elon Musk, Diane Keaton and Rob Reiner. “The story here is the disclosure of celebrities’ personal information, not the fact that they were political donors. It’s well understood that Hollywood is wealthy and that celebrities donate to political parties, especially during a presidential campaign. Celebrities take significant measures to protect their personal information, for obvious reasons. A disclosure like this certainly impacts their lives negatively.”
