Cyware, a provider of threat intelligence management and cyber fusion solutions, has teamed up with ECS, a player in technology solutions for US public sector and defense organizations, to bolster government cybersecurity through an enhanced Intel Exchange platform.
This partnership aims to tailor Cyware’s threat intelligence offerings for federal agencies, promoting collective defense and safeguarding critical national infrastructure.
The collaboration will leverage ECS’s extensive expertise in public-sector cybersecurity to refine Cyware’s Intel Exchange, enabling government entities to adapt quickly to evolving threats. Key developments include upgrades to Cyware’s Threat Intel Risk Score engine, designed to accommodate the complex demands of federal cybersecurity operations.
These enhancements allow threat intelligence (CTI) teams to prioritize relevant threats and customize scoring parameters based on data credibility, relevance, and confidence, among other factors.
Additional advancements under the partnership include:
- Enhanced Threat Scoring and Customization: A new scoring module provides CTI teams with the flexibility to set tailored parameters for any ingested threat data, optimizing their ability to address specific government security needs.
- Streamlined Data Triage: Automated rules in the scoring modules will simplify triaging, allowing CTI analysts to create custom threat-scoring rules based on priority levels. This helps ensure that relevant threats are addressed with efficiency.
Sachin Jade, Chief Product Officer at Cyware, says: “Partnering with ECS allows us to enhance Intel Exchange with capabilities that meet the stringent demands of federal agencies, fostering a proactive approach to threat intelligence sharing and collective defense.”
Greg Adams, Senior Vice President of Justice and Homeland Solutions at ECS, highlighted the partnership’s impact: “Our work with Cyware on Intel Exchange is essential in helping government agencies build a more resilient cybersecurity posture, ensuring they stay ahead of emerging threats.”
The enhanced Intel Exchange capabilities are set to launch for public-sector users in early November 2024, with both companies committed to supporting federal agencies with innovative solutions that strengthen national cybersecurity and infrastructure resilience.
