OVER 80% OF USERS SAY VARONIS HAS IMPROVED OR SIGNIFICANTLY IMPROVED THEIR ABILITY TO PREVENT, DETECT AND RECOVER FROM DATA BREACHES
More than 80% of IT professionals surveyed since April state that Varonis software has improved, or greatly improved, their organisations’ ability to prevent, detect and recover from data breaches. The surveys were conducted by Varonis Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:VRNS), the leading provider of software solutions for unstructured enterprise data.
For the last 10 years, Varonis has been developing and perfecting a range of innovative solutions built on its patented core Metadata Framework technology. Currently powering five distinct Varonis products, the Varonis Metadata Framework intelligently and non-intrusively collects and analyses metadata from customers’ vast, distributed unstructured data stores and enables a variety of use cases, including data governance, data security, archiving, file synchronisation, enhanced mobile data accessibility, search, and business collaboration.
The surveys were conducted over several months at Varonis Connect meetings, an annual series of customer conferences held in cities throughout North America and Europe. The meetings bring together a wide range of Varonis’ rapidly expanding base of customers across all industries, to learn about best practices and use cases for how to utilise Varonis solutions from each other and from Varonis experts. More than 300 Varonis customers from multiple industries and countries are represented in the survey sample.
Additional Key Findings Include:
- At least 94% of respondents have confidence in the security of their data.
- At least 53% of respondents are able to get users access to the data they need within minutes.
David Gibson, Varonis Vice President, said, “Our Varonis Connect meetings are a great chance for us to get a feel for how our users are benefiting from Varonis solutions, and how we might be able to further improve their experiences. We are thrilled to hear that the vast majority of our customers are noticing a direct correlation between the software and their ability to fight and proactively prevent data breaches, without compromising productivity and ability to get users access to data they need quickly.”
