London, UK (1 October 2013) – AlienVault, the leading provider of Unified Security Management™ solutions and crowd-sourced threat intelligence, today announced that it has expanded its operations with two new offices: one in Reading, England, and one in Austin, Texas. The new locations will help the company meet the rapidly growing market demand for its products, and the expansion of its channel organisation to help serve that demand in EMEA and the U.S.
The new European sales office in Reading, UK is located in a prestigious business centre within Reading University that is designed specifically for high-growth technology companies. The office houses both sales and support teams focused on AlienVault’s customer and partner base in the UK and throughout Europe and the team is led by Richard Kirk, Senior Vice President of International Sales for AlienVault.
“It is extremely fitting that the Reading office is located in a centre reserved for high-growth technology companies,” said Barmak Meftah, AlienVault’s CEO and President. “We’ve already seen over 100% growth in net new customers in 2013 and are firmly on target to carry on with this momentum and more than double bookings for a third year in a row.”
AlienVault’s new US location in Austin, Texas, will enable the company to tap the high tech talent pool that resides in Austin, home to much of the technology innovation that happens outside of Silicon Valley. This new office brings additional leadership staff for strategic sales, marketing and development initiatives.
“These are exciting times for AlienVault and with our most recent round of funding, we are extremely pleased to be able to open these new offices where we can tap into the immense tech talent that these two locations have to offer,” concluded Meftah.
With these two new locations, AlienVault now has offices in San Mateo, Calif., and Austin, Texas; and in Madrid and Granada, Spain, and in Reading, UK.
