Websense TRITON GladiatorsNetherlands expansion marks company’s increasing global footprint

Performanta, a specialist information security firm, today announced that another of its employees has successfully been certified as a Websense TRITON Gladiator. He will join with four colleagues throughout the EMEA region, bringing Performanta’s total number of Websense TRITON Gladiators to five — the record for any one Websense partner across the globe.

This record achievement cements Performanta’s status as a Certified Websense TRITON Integrator for the EMEA region.  The Websense CTI programme strict requirements include: training & audit, customer satisfaction surveys and ongoing reporting to Websense. The Websense TRITON Gladiator accreditation is a key part of becoming a Certified TRITON Integrator as channel partners cannot be certified by Websense without at least one Gladiator.

“We are pleased that Performanta has achieved this level of accreditation, and we know that our customers will benefit from having another Gladiator available,” said John Starr, Vice President, Channel Sales & Professional Services, at Websense. “In 2012, Performanta was given our ‘International Technical Excellence and Expertise’ award for displaying skill with all areas of the Websense solution portfolio, and we are pleased to recognise their commitment to excellence again.”

Performanta also announced its expansion to The Netherlands, with one of its Gladiators being deployed there specifically to provide Websense technology to its client base in the region. This is one of several strategic expansions planned to increase Performanta’s global footprint in the coming year both within EMEA and further afield.

Lior Arbel, CTO of Performanta Ltd said: “Websense is one of the key technologies that our team works with across the globe so we are very pleased to see our colleagues’ commitment and skill recognised. This talent is crucial to our business as we want to be the first port of call when customers are having difficulty with deployments so it’s important that we can offer the highest standards of support for that technology.”

“With cyber-criminal activity growing all over the world, solutions like Websense TRITON APX are crucial in helping companies protect their business critical information,” says Guy Golan, CEO of Performanta. “Certifications like this provide a standard and a roadmap by which to judge the cyber-security skills of potential partners and are a massive benefit to the industry.”
