<p>This highlights the benefits of a centralized approach to encryption. The news of certificates being revoked within 2 days can be a nightmare for already over-stretched security teams. </p>
<div>The centralisation of encrypted data allows third-parties to proactively monitor for vulnerabilities like this and react quickly on their customers\’ behalf in order to keep their networks secure – ultimately, easing the burden.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Affected companies should immediately prioritise refreshing all LetsEncrypt certificates to avoid any customer impact, irrespective of whether the certificate is one of those impacted.</div>
