Cryptzone, a pioneering provider of encryption solutions and identity and access management (IAM), has confirmed it has secured the appointment of Andy Knapp. In his new role as Vice President Sales for EMEA, Andy is tasked with driving revenue growth through the recruitment and management of top talent to Cryptzone’s EMEA sales team, as well as developing existing and new channel partnerships. Based in the UK, Andy brings with him 20 years’ experience of the software industry.
Andy joins Cryptzone from Black Duck Software, a vendor of open source solutions for enablement, security and governance. In less than three years his successful sales record and proven territory management skills led to two internal promotions that saw him rise to Sales and Business Development Director for EMEA. In that role Andy effectively led the sales team and managed channel partnerships to become the top performing region in attaining revenue quota. Success he plans to replicate at Cryptzone.
Mark Mc Cue, SVP Global Sales at Cryptzone, said: “Andy has shown remarkable ability to establish sales momentum by winning strategic accounts in competitive markets – I have every confidence that such success will be achieved at Cryptzone and help us in our mission to become one of the fastest growing cybersecurity companies in the industry in 2015.”
Previously, Andy has held sales roles within major technology brands and start-ups – including Oracle, ERP solution provider, JBA (now part of Infor) and Aprimo (now part of Teradata).
