Charles Sweeney, CEO, Bloxx shares his thoughts regarding the Government’s announcement yesterday of a cyber security kite mark:
“We welcome yesterdays’s announcement and believe that the additional funding and range of new initiatives will help the UK improve its readiness and resilience against ever more sophisticated security attacks. This is a fast changing threat landscape, so companies need to be ever vigilant to ensure that they have the right tools and processes in place to protect their assets. With its announcement today the Government is encouraging companies to put cyber security at the heart of their business and move away from a ‘tick box’ attitude that has sometimes been apparent in the past.”
