Check Point’s report showed that 79% of businesses had a mobile security incident in the last year, while 42% lost six figures and 16% lost over $500,000.
This news comes amid concern from IT professionals that the Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) movement is putting their companies’ security at risk.
Sensitive information stored on employees’ personal devices that are not managed by business’ IT departments can be more easily lost or leaked.
