Having driven technology innovation for over 75 years, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is one of the world’s most influential business technology companies. HPE has focused on delivering breakthrough technologies and pioneering revolutionary research in order to help organisations of all sizes, from global enterprises to local start-ups, transition from traditional technology platforms to the IT systems of the future.
This year, HPE will be bringing its knowledge and experience to a partnership with IP EXPO Europe 2016 on a series of special seminars and exclusive events focused on the future of computing and the importance of STEM skills.
“With the UK’s economic success increasingly dependent on the digital fluency of its citizens, the importance of STEM skills is only going to grow,” commented Marc Waters, MD for UK and Ireland at HPE. “At HPE we support a whole spectrum of initiatives that span primary, secondary and higher education in order to promote interest in STEM subjects and technology as a whole. During IP EXPO Europe we’ll be bringing together influential figures from across the industry to work out what we can do collectively to empower young talent to pursue STEM education and careers in technology.”
Throughout the two-day event, held on 5-6 October at the ExCeL in London, HPE will also discuss evolutions in the technology industry and their state-of-the-art technology in a series of seminars focused on business transformation alongside demonstrations at their stand. HPE Chief Technologist David Chalmers will be giving attendees a rare opportunity to glimpse the future through the eyes of HPE, showcasing what is coming next with HPE’s biggest Hewlett Packard Labs project – The Machine.
Bradley Maule-ffinch, Director of Strategy for IP EXPO Europe, commented: “We’re committed to providing attendees with the opportunity to see first-hand how HPE are transforming businesses and their plans for business technology in the future. It’s great to see such an influential company address the big issues facing the entire technology industry.”
