Herndon, VA ● Washington, DC (12 August 2013) — The Industrial Control System Information Sharing and Analysis Center (ICS-ISAC) announced today that Raytheon Trusted Computer Solutions (RTCS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN), has joined as a supporting member in a collaborative endeavor to advance cybersecurity for critical infrastructure.
The ICS-ISAC is a knowledge-sharing center where stakeholders in the Industrial Control System community come together to work on cybersecurity risks, threats and mitigations. The Center is leading development of a Situational Awareness Reference Architecture (SARA); an effort RTCS is substantially contributing to.
“Industrial Control Systems handle information that is critical to public safety, system reliability, and economic success,” said Ed Hammersla, Chief Operating Officer of RTCS. “Joining the ICS-ISAC enables RTCS to better understand and contribute to fulfilling the ongoing security and information sharing requirements that organizations that manage critical infrastructure must address.”
