Internet security, and its lack of, is a big thing in the news at the moment what with Sony’s servers being taken over at the end of last year. More recently, it seems that more and more websites and celebrity social media profiles fall victim to internet hijacks. In light of these events, what can we do about our online privacy?

A VPN (virtual private network) is an encrypted network service that provides a secure connection over a private or public network, thereby protecting any data you send or receive over said connection.
