Azure SQL and SQL Server 2016Enterprise Random Password Manager Provides Enterprise-level Security Controls Over Privileged Credentials on all Layers of the IT Stack, On Premises and in the Cloud

Lieberman Software Corporation’s adaptive privileged identity management platform, Enterprise Random Password Manager™ (ERPM), now supports Microsoft Azure SQL Database and SQL Server 2016. These enhancements are consistent with the company’s strategy of anticipating how its customers’ IT infrastructures will evolve in the future, and ensuring that ERPM continues to scale to the largest enterprise environments.

“ERPM was in the initial class of applications Certified for Microsoft Azure last year, and is available for download from the Microsoft Azure Marketplace,” said Chris Stoneff, Vice President of Technical Management at Lieberman Software. “From there it can be securely launched and fully operational within minutes. Now, with added support for Azure SQL, ERPM customers also benefit from having the most scalable database as part of a privileged identity management solution that is available in the cloud.”

About Enterprise Random Password Manager

ERPM enforces fine-grained control over elevated access to sensitive systems by automatically discovering, securing and auditing privileged identities throughout the cross-platform enterprise – either on-premises, in the cloud or as a hybrid model.  It ensures that an organization’s powerful privileged credentials are frequently updated and only available on a temporary, audited basis. By keeping credentials continuously changing and tightly controlled, ERPM prevents hackers and malicious insiders from exploiting unsecured credentials, taking control over the IT infrastructure, and accessing systems with sensitive data.

Leveraging Azure’s global deployment of data centers and the scalability of SQL Server, ERPM can provide an organization with an enterprise-grade privileged identity management solution worldwide in less than an hour. Hosting ERPM from Azure also allows Lieberman Software customers to significantly save on hardware and licensing costs.

Both Windows Azure and ERPM are designed for full orchestration using PowerShell, making them each friendly to manage by IT professionals. And by managing ERPM via PowerShell, ERPM customers can run the product in the cloud using Azure SQL as the database, or they can deploy the product on-premises with SQL Server 2016 as the back-end database.
