A new survey has found that the majority of Irish technology companies plan to take on new staff in the next three months.However, over half of the businesses surveyed in the first Irish Software Association Digital Technology Index said finding the right talent for these jobs remains a challenge.
More than 700 Irish technology company bosses responded to the survey, with the results showing that two-thirds are more confident about their business than they were three months ago.
Three-quarters of respondents said they expect revenue from international sales to rise in the next 12 months, with a quarter predicting that increase to be substantial.
>As a result, 80% said they anticipate an overall increase in sales revenue, and that they expect to take on extra staff in the next three months.
