In a recent survey of 200 IT managers in the UK, more than half agreed that there are significant threats to cloud computing. Despite this, the latest government estimates suggest that by the end of 2014, 48% of UK businesses will be using the cloud[1].

For instance, as many as one in five IT managers are considering outsourcing their cloud security. This suggests that it is seen as a specialist field that they do not feel able to manage. Meanwhile, 28.5% claim that they are either using DNS security ineffectively or that they are not using it at all.
