Leading commercial law firm, MLP Law, has launched an award to recognise excellence within the UK’s dynamic Telecoms, Media and Technology (TMT) sectors.

MLP’s ‘TMT Class of 2015’ has been launched in response to substantial growth throughout these sectors over the past five years. The awards are open to all businesses formed in or after 2010 that are thriving in today’s fast-growing digital landscape.

The awards set to forecast what the TMT landscape might look like in 2020, and the businesses that are likely to shape its future, by looking at those that have set the bar high and excelled in their sector since inception. Entrants will be judged on a number of metrics including innovation, creativity, key business achievements and future vision.

Stephen Attree, managing director at MLP Law, said: “We’re extremely excited to get the search underway to find new and emerging talent in the TMT industry. These sectors are elemental in the growth of our economy and we hope that ‘TMT Class of 2015’ will help uncover some of the country’s most promising new businesses.

“The fast-growing digital industries are extremely influential and are shaping the way in which we conduct business. Recognising talent in these sectors will help us to make valuable predictions about who we can expect to be major players in the sectors in the future. We look forward to receiving some great entries!”

The entry requirements are very simple; businesses must have been founded in or after 2010 and be operating in the TMT sectors. To be considered, entrants need to complete this simple online form. Shortlisted entrants will be profiled on an ongoing basis and winners will be announced in summer 2015.
