The controversial hacker The Jester (th3j35t3r), who is a vocal supporter of the US government, told us a few days ago that US authorities didn’t need his help in locating and apprehending the NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden.
However, it turns out that he has launched an operation against all the countries that consider granting asylum to Snowden.
“These are enemies and that’s how I will be treating them, and anyone who facilitates them,” the hacker told FoxNews.
When news broke that Ecuador might grant Snowden asylum, The Jester almost immediately disrupted a website of the country’s Ministry of Tourism, and the one of the country’s stock exchange.
He also claimed to have breached the computer networks of Ecuador’s embassy in London, where WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange is currently located.
