This is a welcome move from Microsoft. Encrypting DNS on what will undoubtedly become one of the world’s most popular operating systems makes us safer than we are now. By including encrypted DNS in Windows 11, Microsoft is protecting the information we share from being exploited by those that would do us harm. This strengthens online security for consumers. In fact, the privacy-conscious among us already make use of widely available DNS encryption services.
