Agile EnterpriseBringing much needed transparency to global Enterprise Services purchasing

The end of July sees the launch of a unique business intelligence product developed by blur Group that enables organisations to gain invaluable insight into global business services trends and market information.

blur Data is an online dashboard providing businesses with a first-of-its-kind industry overview of key trends in business services e-commerce – with insights into geographical focus, technology and industry verticals.

Armed with blur Data, businesses can monitor trends and demand fluctuations for a large array of business services, revealing which technologies are on the rise, what the must-have feature of tomorrow will be, and how changes in demand will shape their company strategy.

Organizations will enjoy insight from a combination of internal and external data sources, including blur’s own comprehensive data collected over the years from thousands of global services projects.

blur Data also enables users to get more granular by allowing them to delve deeper into project variances, budgets and time lines prior to defining the final scope of any project or plan. With unparalleled access to such a rich set of data points, blur Data will become a key strategic tool for making informed pricing, forecasting and procurement decisions.

Jon Hogg, blur’s Chief Marketing Officer said: “ With blur Data buyers of business services can be better informed in terms of sourcing, project costs and timelines, allowing them to set expectations and budgets.” He went on say: “Predicting how long a project is likely to take from kick off to completion will bring a whole new level of control and agility to enterprises.”

blur Data is a stand alone product from blur’s Enterprise Services Platform that is used by business in over 154 countries to buy and sell business services. With more than 9,000 projects running through blur’s marketplace, blur Data captures and displays rich insights about global trends within the business services industry.

Philip Letts, blur’s CEO, said: “We’re excited about the launch of this new product. blur has always been at the forefront of developing new and innovative products in order to shape, define and lead the business services marketplace. This product launch underpins our focus and commitment to the medium and larger enterprise.”
